KEVIN

Principal Advisor

Kevin Taylor

Fractional Advisor · Austin, Texas

Kevin brings over two decades of international experience across customer success, organizational design, agile transformation, and human resources — working with technology companies, multinationals, and growth-stage businesses across the United States, Singapore, and Southeast Asia.

Kevin holds a Master of Project Management from the University of Adelaide — completed at Ngee Ann Academy in Singapore — alongside a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from San Jose State University.

His credential stack spans international HR (SPHRi, SHRM-CP), project execution (PMP), enterprise agile delivery (SAFe SPC 6, ICP-ACC, ICP-AHR, CSP), and the full Scrum Alliance progression — making him one of a small number of practitioners who operate credibly across all three disciplines simultaneously.

THE WORK

Four things. Done well.

Every engagement — regardless of format — comes back to the same four operating problems. These are the pillars of Armadillo Advisory.

Clarifying decision rights

Clarifying decision rights

Who decides what — and who actually does? When that's unclear, everything slows down or gets decided twice.

Simplifying communication flows

Simplifying communication flows

The right information reaching the right people at the right time. Not more communication — better communication.

Redesigning meeting cadence

Redesigning meeting cadence

Meetings that produce decisions, not just updates. A nested rhythm that connects daily work to quarterly strategy.

Aligning teams around execution

Aligning teams around execution

Shared understanding of what good looks like — and feedback loops that surface misalignment before it becomes a crisis.

My client raved about Kevin and valued his consulting advice, work ethic and strategic thinking. This contributed directly to a 6-month extension to my contract with this client. Kevin made me and our boutique consulting firm look good and was one of my very decisions for that engagement.

Client engagement, boutique consultancy

I had the chance to work with Kevin on several challenging projects, and he quickly became someone the whole team leaned on. He brings a strong mix of expertise and perspective, but what really stood out to me was the way he listens and helps people get to the heart of an issue. He doesn't just jump in with answers — he asks the right questions and often shifts the way a problem is framed, which makes all the difference.

Kevin is one of those people you can always count on. He follows through, creates space for open and honest conversations, and earns trust naturally. I've seen both colleagues and senior leaders go out of their way to get his input because they know it will be thoughtful and practical. Kevin brings humor into heavier work situations and helps to lighten the mood and keep people focused on the positive.

Above all, Kevin puts the team and the organization first. He's not about ego — he's about impact, and he builds genuine relationships along the way. If you're looking for someone who can bring clarity, integrity, and real partnership, I'd strongly recommend working with him.
